For Australian Go Fish, the books are made from 2 species instead of the traditional 4. With this variant, jokers can be used in gameplay. Go Fish is a card game in which each player (a group of 2, 3 or 4 people) receives 5 cards.

If there are no more cards in stock, they are out of the game. Backstab Fish is a variant of Go Fish that usually lasts much longer than traditional Go Fish.
