Although a V300 qualification is not essential for working in aesthetics, it can be beneficial for a practitioner offering certain treatments, the most obvious of which is Botox. Because Botox is a prescription drug, practitioners who do not have a prescription qualification must essentially “team up” with a doctor or other prescribing physician to prescribe Botox to their patients.
